    Real or Virtual, all designs need a beginning. A term that I use too often is “Building by Resolution”. Start with the most basic and build the detailing in layers of resolution.

    How big is that “thing” and how big should it be to describe the situation.

    As the design develops and scale is determined to be correct, the inclusion of featured elements is engaged.

    In the example above the desks and monitors are added to show what screen graphics are required. The stunt requirements are included showing break-aways and pick-points.

    Using subliminal design to help place the scene in its correct situation.
